Daniil Medvedev’s Tecnifibre ATP TFight 305 XTC Racket

Tecnifibre adds another chapter to the TFight 305! Named the ATP TFight 305 XTC, this racket is weighted for intermediate and advanced players. With its 18×19 string pattern, it packs a little more control than the TFight 300 and 315 models, a fact that should embolden some big hitters to take more aggressive cuts at the ball.

It also packs a relatively thin and flexible 21-22mm beam, giving it better feel than you’ll find with a typical modern player’s racket. Compared to the previous TFight 305, this racket has a slightly higher swingweight, which should translate into a extra plow-through and pop. The signature technology is called Xtreme Touch Construction, which is deployed in strategic locations around the frame to increase flexibility, touch and stability With its somewhat beefy swingweight, the 305 is pretty effective at trading heavy groundstrokes or redirecting the pace of big hitters.

Tecnifibre ATP TFight 305 Profile

Although it’s not quite as spin-friendly as the 300 and 315, our playtesters found enough spin to bring the ball down effectively. Aggressive servers will be rewarded with the needed control to swing big and select ambitious targets, and there’s enough mass in the head for generating higher levels of pace. At net, experienced players will find decent stability when redirecting pace along with good touch for dropping the ball short. Ultimately, with some incremental updates to the feel along with a slight boost in stability, the TFight 305 is a great option for intermediate and advanced players who want a player’s racket with good plow-through and great control.
